The “4th ADELE-RS Transnational Meeting” is organized in MALTA by the University of Malta and the Belt Victoria Foundation.

The Meeting is the fifth meeting of the ADELE-RS Project Partnership including also the Extraordinary Transnational Meeting held in Gerace (Italy) at the end of July 2023.

This meeting is very important because it will allow us, in particular, to:

• Verify the conclusion of the project phase of the Didactic Modules of the Experimental Specialization Course that we will carry out in 2024 and the start of the production phase of the teaching materials;
• Define the general procedures for the recruitment of trainees of the Experimental Course and for the organization of the internship phase (training-on-the-job) and the Didactic Planning phase of the related Module;
• Check the availability of the articles necessary for the completion new issues of our Magazine;
• Get to know in detail the e-Learning and e-Stage infrastructure set up by the Politehnica University of Bucharest and define the criteria for the uploading of the materials
• Establish the criteria for the creation of the Virtual Didactic Site and the types of content with which to feed it;
• Formalize the request for extension of our Project until 30 September 2024.

Due to the extensive work programme, it was decided not make any public presentation of the Project at this stage in Portugal – postponing this activity to the Multiplier Event scheduled in 2024 – and to focus all participants’ attention on the work to be done.

The Meeting will take place at the sites of the two Maltese Partners: the first day at the University of Malta and the second at the Belt Victoria Foundation on the Island of Gozo.

The Adele-RS Project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (measureVETKA2020), develops a homogeneous solution, called the Adele-RS System, which integrates the most advanced technologies for e-Learning with the most transversal ones aimed at e-Work.
To this transversal objective, the Project adds a more specific goal that applies the Adele-RS System to the specialization of a particular and interesting target of users: the graduates in the Restoration, Conservation and Valorisation of Cultural Heritage in order to fill the gap in knowledge and sectoral skills when students leaving university in relation to the needs of the field, so as to consolidate their employability, also in the transnational and international dimension.

Erasmus+ supports the priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the Adele-RS Project is aimed to apply these objectives in Restoration Project Management and in Valorisation on Cultural Heritage field.

The “ADELE-RS Extraordinary Transnational Meeting” is organized by the Promoter, “Associazione Arte e Fede”.
 
The Project has reached the important task of “Content development for the experimental Specialization Course” (foreseen in the work plan) which must be delivered in the second quarter of 2024, according to the current timetable. This is a complex and structured phase, also because the development of multimedia materials necessary to feed the “Virtual Didactic Site”, subsystem of the digital platform of the ADELE-RS SYSTEM.
 
This extraordinary meeting was proposed during the 3rd Transnational Meeting held in Evora and Lisbon on 3-4 of April, 2023 taking into account the opportunity offered by the Promoter – the “Art and Faith Association” – which also this year (we are at the 7th edition) organizes at its headquarters in the Archiepiscopal Citadel of Locri-Gerace, a Summer School attended by graduates in the disciplines of the Cultural Heritage sector from all over Italy (this Initiative is completely separated by the Project ADELE-RS).
 
The Steering Committee during the aforementioned Meeting in Portugal therefore approved the proposal to bring together in Gerace the Partners involved in the development of the contents with the aim of carrying out a first phase of common work for the general setting of the materials, the realization of audio-video recordings of conservation, restoration and communication processes on specific cultural heritage,  the production of specialized content in the field.
 
Obviously, the meeting will also allow to enhance the ADELE-RS Project among the participants in the Summer School.
 
The “extraordinary meeting” was communicated to the Italian National Agency Ersamus + INAPP which gave a favorable opinion, so it becomes one of the official Transnational Meetings of the Project.
 
The stay of the Partners is supported directly by the Archbishopric of Locri-Gerace for which the participating Partners will bear only the travel costs and any food costs directly incurred.

The “3rd Adele-RS Transnational Meeting” is organized by the University of Evora and the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon.
The Meeting is the third official meeting of the AdeleRS Project Partnership and the second in presence.

The “2nd Adele-RS Transnational Meeting” is organized by the National University of Art and the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. The meeting is the second official meeting of the AdeleRS Project Partnership and the first held in presence after the limitations resulting from the Sars Covid 19 epidemy. For this reason, in addition to the specific objectives (organizational, operational, managerial) of a project meeting, it represents the first live meeting of all AdeleRS Partners.

The “1st Adele-RS Transnational Meeting” is organised by Associazione “Arte e Fede” (Project Promoter and Coordinator).

The Meeting is the final kick-off of the operative activities of the Erasmus+ Project “HeLPS TRANSFER” and the first opportunity to do a public presentation of the Project .

The Meeting is devide in two different phases.

The first phase – on 5th April – is finalised to a public launch of the Project in Italy. It’s realised with a Public Conference in presence and at distance.

The second phase – on 7th April – is the Partnership Project Meeting finalised to start the implementation part of the Adele-RS.

La transizione digitale è oggi uno dei temi più sentiti nell’Unione Europea tanto nei settori produttivi quanto nei settori dell’istruzione e della formazione, sia di base che professionale. La Pandemia ha evidenziato la forte impreparazione delle imprese e delle organizzazioni pubbliche, in Europa, di operare in contesti in cui è richiesta una forte virtualizzazione dei prodotti e dei processi. Saper imparare a distanza, lavorare a distanza, produrre prodotti e servizi erogabili e fruibili a distanza sono diventate esigenze trasversali e prioritarie. A ciò si aggiunga che le competenze professionali in diversi settori sono in continua evoluzione, per il rinnovamento di prassi, metodi e strumenti utilizzati e per favorire la loro efficace transizione digitale.

Il convegno è realizzato in occasione del lancio del Progetto “Adele-RS – Advanced e-Learning for Cultural Heritage Restorers Specialisation”, finanziato nell’ambito del Programma Erasmus+ a una partnership di nove organizzazioni di Italia, Malta, Portogallo e Romania e coordinato dall’Associazione “Arte e Fede” di Gerace. L’evento è un’occasione per discutere di questi temi sia dal punto di vista del Settore del Restauro, Conservazione e Valorizzazione dei Beni Storici, Artistici e Culturali sia dal punto di vista dei Sistemi di Istruzione e Formazione Professionale.

La Conferenza, che si svolge nella splendida cornice della Cittadella Arcivescovile di Gerace, vedrà la partecipazione di esperti, docenti, studenti, portatori di interesse dei settori di riferimento, rappresentanti del mondo delle istituzioni e della cultura di Italia, Malta, Portogallo e Romania.
