Aims and objectives
General Aim of the AdeleRS Project it:
To develop an innovative e-Learning and Smart-Working system and related contents that allows to carry out advanced training interventions and distance internships for the specialization of graduates in the fields of Restoration and Conservation of Cultural Heritage, aimed at ensuring:
- The consolidation of their professional skills and knowledge
- The acquisition of new conservation, restoration and enhancement techniques
- Continuing education based also on non-formal and informal learning
- Professionalizing language learning in the field of Cultural Heritage
- A smoother and more inclusive approach to the world of work
Because of this General Purpose, the Objectives of the Project are to:
- Use innovative technological solutions for the virtualization of training processes, including internships carried out using remote work, also to limit or eliminate the physical mobility of learners, using “virtual mobility” and carry out formal, informal and non-formal learning processes
- Promote the professional growth of restorers, through their specialization on advanced restoration methodologies and techniques and professionalizing language skills of restorers
- Create a community of practice at European level of operators in the field of restoration of cultural heritage, to favor continuous learning
- Facilitate the training of those with fewer opportunities to access the labour market, through truly inclusive education and training environments.
Results
- An advanced technological-organizational system, called “AdeleRS System“, to conceive, design, develop and deliver remote interventions for the specialization of Restorers and Operators in the field of Cultural Heritage, which includes the management:
- E-Learning Environments
- e-Stage Environments (telework internship)
- A Virtual Educational Site
- An encyclopedia (WikiAdeleRS) and a library (eLibeRS) specialized in the field of cultural heritage professions
- A wide Community of Practice
- An extensive package of training modules in e-Learning
- An extensive package of modules for the e-Stage.
- Three Specialization Courses for graduates in the field of Cultural Heritage (which will be delivered in an experimental form during the Project)
-
A specialist electronic journal entitled“AdeleRS e-Zine. Innovations in the Restoration Sector“
Access to these resources is allowed from two specific web environments:
- The Project Website
- The Dashboard (Portal of the Services)
Target groups
Many Groups of stakeholders are “target” of the Project AdeleRS:
- Graduates in the process of entering the job market, in the field of conservation, restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage
- Experts in the Vocational Education and Training system
- Representatives of companies engaged in the various areas of interest
- Representatives of the holders and managers of historical, artistic, and cultural assets and heritages
The Project addresses them with different levels of services:
- Information Services
- Community Services
- Training Services
The first are provided by the Adele-RS Website, the others one by the Services Portal (Dashboard).
For this reason, three types of users of AdeleRS platforms are distinguished:
Visitors
They are all General Users of the Website. These do not have credentials to access the Services Portal (Dashboard) so they exhaust their navigation in the public parts of the Site.
Users
They are the Users Registered in the Community of Practice. They do not benefit from the training services but participate in Adele-RS as experts, stakeholders, university students, professors, etc. These users will use the services: 1 (AdeleRSCommunity), 2 (eLiberRS) and 3 (WikiAdeleRS).
Students
They are the Users who participate in an Adele-RS Specialization Course. The Students are automatically Users, but the opposite is not true. These users, in addition to accessing services 1, 2 and 3, will also benefit from those offered by subsystem 4 (E&TAdeleRS).
