The “ADELE-RS Extraordinary Transnational Meeting” is organized by the Promoter, “Associazione Arte e Fede”.
The Project has reached the important task of “Content development for the experimental Specialization Course” (foreseen in the work plan) which must be delivered in the second quarter of 2024, according to the current timetable. This is a complex and structured phase, also because the development of multimedia materials necessary to feed the “Virtual Didactic Site”, subsystem of the digital platform of the ADELE-RS SYSTEM.
This extraordinary meeting was proposed during the 3rd Transnational Meeting held in Evora and Lisbon on 3-4 of April, 2023 taking into account the opportunity offered by the Promoter – the “Art and Faith Association” – which also this year (we are at the 7th edition) organizes at its headquarters in the Archiepiscopal Citadel of Locri-Gerace, a Summer School attended by graduates in the disciplines of the Cultural Heritage sector from all over Italy (this Initiative is completely separated by the Project ADELE-RS).
The Steering Committee during the aforementioned Meeting in Portugal therefore approved the proposal to bring together in Gerace the Partners involved in the development of the contents with the aim of carrying out a first phase of common work for the general setting of the materials, the realization of audio-video recordings of conservation, restoration and communication processes on specific cultural heritage, the production of specialized content in the field.
Obviously, the meeting will also allow to enhance the ADELE-RS Project among the participants in the Summer School.
The “extraordinary meeting” was communicated to the Italian National Agency Ersamus + INAPP which gave a favorable opinion, so it becomes one of the official Transnational Meetings of the Project.
The stay of the Partners is supported directly by the Archbishopric of Locri-Gerace for which the participating Partners will bear only the travel costs and any food costs directly incurred.
