The “Arte e Fede” Association has a specific experience in the field of cultural heritage enriched over the years thanks to the experimental project called “Art and Faith in the Diocese of Locri Gerace”, which carries out the study, experimentation, restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage.This project sees the contribution of different skills that provide a holistic vision of the “artistic-cultural good”, capable of reconciling the precious and indispensable disciplinary specialization with a modern interdisciplinarity, soliciting comparisons and interactions, in a continuous dialogue between humanistic and technical-scientific knowledge.
The Association has contributed to the construction of composite structures of research, training, protection and enhancement, involving, in project planning, Universities, Academy of Fine Arts and Schools of Restoration, with the systematic collaboration of teachers, researchers, technicians and officials who have made available laboratories, libraries and instruments, to the advantage of the quality of the training offer, aimed at the growth of high professional figures, the development of scientific research and related experimentation and the protection of heritage.
The “Arte e Fede” Association also has experience in organizing mobility activities where university students and / or young professionals in the sector become the protagonists of the projects in which they are inserted and where they can experience the notions acquired during the years of study. Moreover, thanks to the action shared with the various institutions with which it collaborates, the association has become a place of training for young scholars and researchers who, from the comparison and integration between the different skills, can increase their cognitive path and mature their professional experience.

In the projects carried out by the Association, more than 250 students and professionals selected through special calls were involved, with which it was possible to enhance about 500 historical artifacts artists within the laboratories of the Episcopal Citadel of Gerace, headquarters of the Association itself.
In 2020, the Art and Faith Association, despite the restrictions due to Covid-29, decided to give continuity to the experiences already gained as part of the training offer aimed at young people by offering them a path developed totally at a distance thanks to the creation of a virtual construction site through which distance study sessions were implemented while practical sessions were carried out by students at their offices thanks to specific tutorials.
